The annual Farabi Alemi International Scientific Conference for Students and Young Scientists, held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, once again became an important platform for discussing environmental initiatives and sustainable development.
As part of the conference, the Department of Thermal Physics and Technical Physics organized a round table entitled “Waste Management: Strategies for a Sustainable Future.”
Samruk-Green Energy was represented by Renewable Energy Engineer Yerbol Yerkenovich Aubakirov, who took part in the event as a guest expert and shared valuable industry experience and conducted an interactive practical lesson “SafeLab: Safety Laboratory”.
During his speech, Mr. Aubakirov highlighted the rapid development of green energy in Kazakhstan and emphasized the role of renewable energy sources in reducing environmental impact, lowering emissions, and minimizing industrial waste. He also emphasized the paramount importance of protecting human life and health at work during an interactive session and revealed modern methods and means of personal protective equipment.
Participation of industry professionals in academic events helps strengthen cooperation between science and business while inspiring young researchers to contribute to the future of sustainable energy.
