The ceremony of launching a solar power station and wind power station, implemented in the framework of an interstate agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China
1 MW (SES) and 5 MW wind power plants (WES), implemented under an agreement between the governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China as of 26.09.2011.
The project was implemented in the framework of the Agreement between the Governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People’s Republic of China. Its operators were: from Kazakhstani side – “Samruk-Energy” JSC, from Chinese side – “Powerchina Zhongnan Engineering Corp. Ltd" company."
The construction and installation work on the 1 MW SES project began in December 2017 and was completed in October 2018, and the 5 MW project was carried out from March to November 2018. According to the results of 72-hour comprehensive tests and tests, solar and wind power stations are fully operational.
Chairman of the Board of “Samruk-Energy” JSC Bakitzhan Zhulamanov, who took part in the launch ceremony of the stations, noted that the Green Bridge between the States is aimed at further sharing experience in the field of renewable energy sources, which allows the development of its own scientific and technical potential and the creation in Kazakhstan to address scientific and applied research, training and advanced training of specialists in the field of "green" energy.
Together with the Chinese operator, Powerchina Zhongnan Engineering Corporation Limited (Zhongnan Power Station), the construction and installation work on the projects was carried out by CITIC Construction Co., Ltd, which acts as a general contractor. According to Mr. Li Jianhui, Director General of Eastern Europe and the CIS, the solar station consists of 3608 photovoltaic modules, boundaries on two types of metal structures: fixed and adjustable angle of inclination. The wind farm includes two 2.5 MW wind farms produced by the Chinese company GoldWind.
“Samruk-Green Energy” LLP carried out additional control over the construction of projects in order to ensure timely fulfillment of obligations under the agreement. According to Talgat Bukenov, General Director of “Samruk-Green Energy” LLP, 1,716 monocrystalline panels with a capacity of 285 W and 1,892 polycrystalline panels with a capacity of 275 W were installed at the 1 MW SES, 1.4 million kW * h of annual electricity generation. two high-tech wind farms, with a tower height of 80 meters and a blade length of 53.8 meters. Wind turbines can generate electricity at wind speeds of 3 m / s to 25 m / s. The annual energy production of a wind power plant with a capacity of 5 MW will be 17 million kWh. The output power of the SES 1 MW and wind power plants of 5 MW are sold in the network of JSC “Almaty Power Plants”
