February 11, 2016, in the framework of the Agreement on Strategic Partnership signed between «Samruk-Energy» JSC and the American company «Primus Power», energy storage system EnergyCell (G1) has been delivered to the 2MW Solar power plant in Kapshagay.

2 MW SPP of «Samruk-Green Energy» LLP is a pilot area, which will implement testing of this innovative technology. Testing is scheduled in multiple load conditions, with the assignment of not less than 30 days for each of the regimes.

Energy storage system EnergyCell is a unique energy storage system that will better integrate the production of solar energy into the power system of Kazakhstan.
